for those preparing for the QLTT
Law Society of Ireland Exam in 2025!

UP TO DATE: I update the notes twice a year with new case law and relevant legislation. The last update was in April 2025 and includes an update around Heneghan (constitutional law), DPP v Crawford (criminal law), the criminal justice (incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences) Bill 2020 update (criminal law), an update on causation (tort) and an update on Article 267 TFEU (EU law) to name but a few.
-
EXAM QUESTIONS: my notes will always include the last sittings' exam questions (in this case, Summer 2024) and usually go back 5 years of sittings. The exam questions that are relevant to an individual chapter are stated at the back of that chapter.
-
EXAM FOCUSED: the focus is on the exam papers which ensures all notes are relevant to what will be asked in the exam.
-
MINIMALIST: these are a comprehensive 'skeleton' to allow you shape your exam answers. It is recommended that you read up on some of the cases and of course, download the legislation from the Irish Statute Book as you are learning.
